Upon graduating in economics at Erasmus University, Job started his entrepreneurial career in 2002 with an awards winning Rotterdam based startup that failed in 2005. He subsequently became the founding managing director of the YES!Delft incubator and founder of the Mainport Innovation Fund (KLM, Schiphol, Rabo, TU Delft). Currently he is co-founder and partner of the Venture Generator through which he helps corporates to develop a startup mentality to business development. Job Nijs is well known in the Dutch startup and incubation scene and has an extensive network in both public and private organizations. Job is member of the review board of the EU Climate KIC program, setting up a corporateled water investment fund.
