The Trust was founded by twelve local and national and international entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial firms that united to support a professorial chair in "The Art of Entrepreneurship" and the Maastricht Centre for Entrepreneurship. Each entrepreneur has committed to an annual donation of at least €10,000. Their support roots the Centre in the realities of high-impact venturing and guarantees an enduring input to the leadership of the Centre.

The BioPartner Center Maastricht offers incubation services and facilities to life sciences start-ups. Its main mission is to increase the chance of success for life sciences start-ups. Through its three "tissue incubators" and "GMP cell therapy" clean rooms, the Center offers a complete range of facilities from laboratory scale to GMP production for life sciences companies active in the fields of cell therapy and cell culturing.

The "Chair of Business Administration for Engineers and Scientists" of the Aachen University (RWTH) aims to foster the economic and entrepreneurial education of engineers and scientists. Besides an introduction into business administration for Engineers and Scientists, students and founders can take lectures in various field of entrepreneurship and learn special skills like presenting and negotiating. Furthermore the chair is doing research studies in various fields to strengthen the research association and to enrich the entrepreneurial practice.
